Two men charged over assault of hotel security guard

Two men have been charged over an alleged alcohol fuelled assault at The Junction last night.

Police say officers were called to a licensed premises in Kenrick St around 7.30pm (AEDT).

It is alleged the men had been asked to leave the hotel due to their level of intoxication and as they were escorted out they assaulted a security guard.

It is then alleged the pair walked down Glebe Road and one of the men exposed himself to some people in a restaurant.

A 21-year-old Queensland man has been charged with a range of offences including assault and wilful and obscene exposure.

A 29-year-old Merewether man has been charged with assault and offensive behaviour.
