Sun Coast businessman buys drinks firm

Sunshine Coast businessman Peter Lavin has bought local bottled water and soft drink company the Cooroy Mountain Group.

The company was placed into receivership last September with debts of more than $20 million and was liquidated last month.

Mr Lavin beat numerous other bids for the business, including one from Coca-Cola Amatil.
