$1000 reward offered for stolen Chesterfield chair

The hunt is on for a red, leather, antique, Chesterfield chair that was stolen from a Launceston hotel.

The chair was taken from outside Sporties Hotel, on Charles Street, Launceston, on Thursday night by a male aged mid to late twenties, with dark hair and a pronounced limp.

Security footage shows the man casually walking up to the building, while another camera captures the offender lugging the chair away.

Sporties Hotel owner Nick Daling has offered a $1000 reward for any information leading to the identication of the offender, and the return of the chair.

Any persons with information should call Launceston Police on 131 444 or Sporties Hotel on 6331 3968.
