Marchetti named food director at QT Sydney

Sydney chef Robert Marchetti (North Bondi Italian, Giuseppe Arnaldo & Sons, La Macelleria) has been named as the creative food director at Sydney's newest design hotel, QT Sydney, set to open during September.

QT Sydney is being touted as a hotel like no other in Australia. Melding two of Sydney's grandest and most prominent historical buildings, QT Sydney (located between the Gowings building and State Theatre) will be the city jewel of the QT crown.

The 120-seater Gowings Bar and Grill restaurant concept is brasserie in style and execution, with a strong focus on wood-fired crustecea and seafood on the rotisserie.
