Dash and dine group on the run
The owner of a Thai restaurant in WA’s Rockingham has called on the public to help identify a group of diners who skipped on their $150 bill.
Thai By The Sea owner Malai Ann Kanthong took to Facebook to post CCTV images of the group she claims skipped on their meal bill on January 30.
“It saddens us to have to do this but it seems some people have no respect or care for how hard we work to run a successful business,” she wrote in the post.
“We would appreciate if anyone could help us identify these people.
“Please help us by sharing this post and by getting in touch if you have any information.
“We appreciate our customers and the support you give our restaurant. Thank you.”
The CCTV footage shows two women and two men at a table looking around before quickly standing up and leaving.
One Facebook one user claimed that two of the people in the footage did the same thing to a Chinese restaurant in the area.
