Tel Aviv inspired bar and kitchen opens in Fortitude Valley

Brisbane has a new Tel Aviv inspired bar and kitchen with the opening of ZA ZA TA within The Emporium precinct in Fortitude Valley.

Located in the same precinct as Ovolo the Valley, the 242 seat venue spans across a bar and kitchen (exclusive of adjacent event spaces) with executive chef Roy Ner and head chef Dario Manca creating a menu which showcases the melting pot of the Middle East and the Mediterranean.

“We're having fun making soulful and dynamic Middle Eastern. Each recipe has a lot of heritage, we're taking centuries old recipes and bringing them back to life,” said Ner.

The late night bar offers a drinks menu by cocktail specialist and area food and beverage director Jared Thibault, who says patrons can expect “flavours and aromas of ancient Arabian spice routes”.
