New $40m hotel at Victor Harbor gets green light
A new build six-storey hotel has been approved for Victor Harbor in South Australia.
Located next to the Anchorage pub, the $40 million hotel will offer 122 rooms and five two-storey penthouses and a conference area.
Construction work on the 4.5 star hotel will start in the second half of next year and take about 18 months to complete.
Developer Greg Phillips said doing a deal with the largest hotel group in the world “will get people down there during the colder months”.
The existing Anchorage hotel will be refurbished with a new bar and dining areas.
