One arrest after mass brawl at Chinese restaurant in Sydney CBD
Heavily armed police have stormed homes across Sydney and made arrests following a wild brawl at the Golden Century restaurant at Haymarket in October.
Shocking CCTV footage of the incident shows two groups of men throwing punches, tables and chairs at each other as horrified diners look on.
The fight saw one man knocked unconscious for 10 minutes while police allege another man produced a knife.
The incident is believed to have started after insults were thrown between the two groups.
Armed officers from Strike Force Raptor raided properties at Greenacre, Yagoona and Roselands, arresting Ahmad Barakat at his Greenacre home and charging him with affray.
Police also found steroids, prescription medications and nearly $14,000 cash in the raids, saying more arrests will be made in coming weeks.
