Lonely Planet names Crown Perth sport’s bar as one of the best
Crown Perth’s Sports Bar has been described as the best in Australia by Lonely Planet, which also described it as one of the world’s best.
In a new feature, Lonely Planet said Perth’s Crown Sports Bar “makes a pretty good claim” at being the nation’s best sports bar.
“The massive central viewing room is surrounded on three sides by gigantic screens, and if by chance you’re not that into whatever the main event is, the hanging screens by the bar show the action from other sports,” it said.
“There’s even a private screening area known as ‘The Box’ for a private, luxury viewing experience.”
The bar offered “the next best thing to being at the game”, according to Crown Perth Food, Beverage and Entertainment chief executive Andrew Hill.
“(It’s a venue) where fans can get together to celebrate the triumphs, heartaches and surprises of their favourite players and teams,” he told Perth Now.
