JLL bushfire fundraiser tonight at Mosman’s Buena Vista Hotel
JLL’s Hotels and Hospitality Group will hold a charity auction tonight to raise funds for those affected by the ongoing bushfires.
The funds raised will be used help The Salvation Army, which is currently providing meals to firefighters and helping affected residents with daily necessities.
“The idea came about when I was in the states over the Christmas break watching the US media report on the incredible extent of damage the bushfires were causing back home and thought to myself ‘how can we help?’” JLL agent Tom Gibson told Commercial Real Estate.
The event will be held at 6pm at the Buena Vista Hotel in Sydney’s Mosman, with $20,000 worth of items ready for auction thanks to the country’s leading hotels donating nights at their hotels in Sydney, Port Douglas, Coles Bay, Hayman Island, as well as Fiji.
“We have some generous clients, and every one of them we approached has donated a prize,” JLL managing director John Musca told Commercial Real Estate.
