Colin Fassnidge to feed families if they are struggling amid coronavirus crisis

Celebrity chef Colin Fassnidge has stepped up to help families in need amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The My Kitchen Rules star announced on Instagram that his two venues The Terminus Hotel in Pyrmont and Banksia at the Banksia Hotel will give free feeds to those people hardest hit by the coronavirus.

“Everybody is doing takeaway,” he said. “We're doing takeaway from our two places. But what we realised was a lot of people who have been coming in soon won't be able to afford takeaway or meals and have families that are doing it tough.

“Our locals are looking after us, so what we'd like to do is if you can't feed your family and you live in the local area of Banksia, DM me on here and we'll sort you out with food.

“We just want to look after our local community because you look after us.

“There won't be a big deal made about it, but we'll look after each other in the future.”
