Keystone sets up house on Hamilton Island

Sydney's Keystone Group will be providing a range of parties and pop up bars for this year's Audi Hamilton Island Race Week (AHIRW), at Hamilton Island August 17 - 25.

"We've had an existing relationship with Hamilton Island for quite some time now and we have a mutual respect each other's businesses and individual visions," said Keystone's group director, Paul Schulte.

"Audi Hamilton Island Race Week is undoubtedly the country's premier sailing and social event and we're thrilled to be able to add to what is already an amazing week."

The Keystone touch will be seen throughout Race Week, both at some of the Island's venues through their fresh styling and ambiance, as well as through a new bespoke cocktail menu at the Island's luxury resort, qualia - one of the world's best hotels.

The event kicks off tonight with a launch party that will feature a 'superband' made up of veteran Australian rockers (Eric Weideman, Mark Gable, John Swan and Angry Anderson).

Keystone has also set up The Pirate Ship pop-up bar and a nautically themed VIP lounge, The Captain's Club, both serving up signature cocktails especially created by Keystone's group cocktail manager, Jason Williams.

Williams also crafted the luxury cocktail list for qualia, which will be available for the hotel's guests throughout the year, and features drinks made using locally grown and made produce and products.

Cocktails include, Water Washing Over Me, a drink designed for two people to share, as well as the Hibiscus Cosmopolitan, Watermelon Man, Spiced Apple Mojito and the mango inspired Django Django.
