TikTok Shows “Shocking” Behaviour at Chicken Restaurant

An argument between a diner and restaurant staff has been captured in a TikTok video.

The video shows a woman abusing staff at a food outlet in Sydney during the current lockdown.

The footage was shot outside Frango charcoal chicken restaurant in Smithfield, where a woman who was accompanied by a young girl and her partner was refused entry because she wasn’t wearing a mask.

She became furious when they told her she’d have to order her food from outside and started swearing at them saying she had an exemption and that they were on a “power trip”.

She was shouting, “You know what, you’re being f***ing b******.

“Today at the shops, the police saw my exemption, and I continued shopping without a f***ing mask.”

The woman’s partner who was wearing a mask is seen apologising and paying for the food.

The footage was posted to TikTok and many were shocked at her behaviour.

“Whether or not she has an exemption, she doesn’t have an exemption to treat workers like this,” one person commented.

“There’s absolutely no reason for her behaviour,” wrote another.

“The business will suffer a fine if they do not implement the rules.”

There were a few who sided with the customer.

“If you have a medical exemption they have no right to refuse you service, embarrassing on their behalf,” wrote one person.

“She has an exemption, why does she need to convince anyone?”

The eatery is located in Smithfield is in western Sydney. It is one of the areas that is most affected by the current outbreak.
