Australasian Gaming Expo Vote of Confidence

The 23rd Australasian Gaming Expo closed its doors at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday.  After seeing themed games including Elvis and Michael Jackson and much more besides, visitors agreed that the world’s best and latest gaming and hospitality equipment was on show here for gaming and hospitality executives from around the region.

Event owner and operator, the Gaming Technologies Association, added to the fun by offering a surprise trip for 2 to Las Vegas for Visitors at each day of the Expo.  Max Williams from Melbourne Victoria, Ron Workman from Currumbin Queensland and Bill Glenn from Belrose NSW are all looking forward to visiting Las Vegas in October, courtesy of the Gaming Expo!

Given that the Australasian region’s gaming industry has experienced difficult times recently, the strength of the exhibition was outstanding.  The 15,000 square metre exhibition space was full to capacity with a wide range of companies including “Best Stand” winner Task Retail Technology, whose Point of Sale software development and systems integration expertise were displayed brilliantly through a creative design and innovative display.

Other great stands included GoPlay Commercial Playgrounds, rawsuga, Riva Ice Cream Dispensing and JCM Global – along with the Association’s members whose exhibition stands would sit comfortably alongside the world’s best at any global event.

Next year’s Australasian Gaming Expo will be on Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 August 2013 at the same location, the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour.

Note: The Australasian Gaming Expo is a trade exhibition, for management representatives of Gaming Industry Organisations only including government, regulatory, research and support bodies, clubs, hotels, casinos, resorts and similar Hospitality Industry venues.
