Upper Hunter food shame

Two Upper Hunter food outlets have been listed on the New South Wales Food Authority's name and shame list for breaching food safety laws.

The Royal Hotel in Singleton was issued two fines in November last year totalling more than $1,700 for failing to store food in an appropriate way and maintain equipment to the required standard of cleanliness.

Robert's Meats butchery in Denman has also been fined more than $1,300 for failing to keep its equipment clean.

Both businesses had previously been issued with warnings.
