Margot Robbie treats 126 Coogee Beach diners to a cocktail
Popular Coogee restaurant Mimi’s recently played host to actor Margot Robbie and husband Tom Ackerley.
The appearance wasn’t just a coup for the eatery, but also for the 126 diners who were treated to a free drink courtesy of the Barbie actress.
The free cocktails included her own brand of gin, Papa Salt, which she co-owns with Ackerley.
“We just came for lunch and I unexpectedly saw Margot and she shouted the whole restaurant one of her drinks,' one diner told the Daily Telegraph.
“She was extremely approachable and made everyone feel like they were a part of her lunch.”
Another diner said: “Everyone, young and old, were wanting photos with her. Some people were crying they couldn't believe their luck.”
Robbie and her husband have been doing the rounds in Australia, having visited the Gold Coast, Perth and Sydney so far.
