Alcohol Delivery Lands in Tasmania on DoorDash
DoorDash (NASDAQ: DASH), is expanding its offering across Tasmania, with its launch of alcohol delivery. The expansion means that customers in the State can now order alcoholic drinks, with dinner and groceries on the app, all powered by DoorDash.
This expansion marks a significant milestone for DoorDash as it expands the market for third-party alcohol delivery across Tasmania, giving consumers more choice and DoorDash's ongoing efforts to provide customers with convenient and efficient delivery options. DoorDash customers in Tasmania will now be able to order from BWS’s 18 stores.

To ensure responsible service and compliance with legal regulations, DoorDash will implement a market-leading age verification solution for alcohol delivery. Customers will be prompted for ID verification both at checkout and upon delivery at the door.
