The Bentley Group’s Cirrus to close its doors on September 1

One of The Bentley Group’s most loved restaurants will shut its doors permanently on September 1.

The group co-owned by Brent Savage and Nick Hildebrandt is famous for fine dining, however, it will be one fine diner short after lease terms for Cirrus failed to be renegotiated.

“This is a bittersweet decision for us,” the pair said. “Whilst we wanted to extend our lease, we were unable to strike a deal with our new landlord. We are immensely proud of what we have achieved at Cirrus.”

The seafood bistro has been in the old Noma site since 2016 and holds the title of Australian Wine List of the Year. Diners have enjoyed a wine and mussels pairing while overlooking the water.

“Although this is disappointing, it has opened the door for new opportunities which will be announced soon,” the pair added.

The Bentley Group still has plant-based fine diner Yellow, the recently relaunched Monopole and its newest venue, King Clarence to boast about.
