  • Fail to maintain all fixtures, fittings and equipment to the required standard of cleanliness - previous warnings given.
  • Fail to display potentially hazardous food under temperature control - meat pizza at 21C, previous warnings given.

Nature and circumstance of offence:

  • Fail to comply with the requirements of a food safety scheme - Did not minimise the risk of injury, pain and suffering to animals.
  • Fail to comply with the requirements of a food safety scheme - Did not slaughter animals and dress the carcass in a way that reduced the risk of contamination.
  • Fail to comply with a condition of licence - lack of training and supervision of slaughterman carrying out operations - Did not adequately train and supervise staff engaged in the slaughter of animals.
