Foodservice Industry Australia Awards of Excellence announced for 2012
The Foodservice Industry Association has announced its name has changed to Foodservice Industry Australia, at the recent Foodservice Industry Awards of Excellence for 2012.
The change of name and direction, with a new logo, aims to cement its critical role as the longest-running Foodservice organisation in Australia after 32 years of operation.
The highest accolade for an individual for long term commitment to the foodservice industry: “LEGEND of the Foodservice Industry” was awarded to Brian Byrns from Conga Foods this year. Mr Byrns is the eighth “LEGEND of the Foodservice Industry” award recipient since its inception.
With members already based across different Australian States, Foodservice Industry Australia declared it will continue to deliver high quality educational events, foodservice training, business programs and industry networking opportunities for the food service industry.
The Foodservice Industry Awards of Excellence were established in 2006.
