Shaw River Buffalo Yoghurt: product recall

The NSW Food Authority advises:

Shaw River Buffalo Cheese is recalling a batch of its buffalo yoghurt available in some small gourmet retailers and health food stores in NSW, QLD and VIC.

The recall is due to contamination with E.coli. Food contaminated with E.coli may cause illness including diarrhoea and stomach cramps if consumed.

The recalled product is :

• Shaw River buffalo yoghurt available in 500g and 1.2kg white plastic tamper-proof tubs with ‘best before’ date of ‘14 APRIL 2013’

The recall only applies to products with the details above.

Consumers should not consume this product. Consumers can return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
