A bouncer was injured in an altercation outside a hotel in Fremantle last night.

About 8.50pm, two men were allegedly involved in a fight with a 26-year-old man outside a hotel on William Street.

The victim was alleged punched several times to the face causing him to fall to the ground where he was struck again.

Members of the public reportedly intervened and the men left the hotel.

A short time later, police apprehended the men on South Terrace.

The victim was taken to Fremantle Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

The two men aged 25 and 27 years of age, both of Piara Waters, have each been charged with one count of remaining on licensed premises, disorderly conduct and assault occasioning bodily harm.

They are due to appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court on January 6.
