More than 25 hotel venues across the bayside are stamping out drunken violence and crime after forming an alliance.

The Bayside Liquor Venues Accord (BLVA) is a voluntary group where hotel owners and managers meet with local police, council and other organisations related to the industry.

BLVA chairman Scott Hogan, of Hogan's Wellington Point, said the group met bi-monthly.

"It's a collection of all the licensees in the area to discuss best practice," he said.

"We meet with police, liquor licensing, gaming, council, Relationships Australia, Gambling Help, Crime Stoppers ... people who have an interest in crime prevention and liquor-related harm."

Hotels involved in the group include Manly Hotel, Wynnum Workers Club, Wynnum Manly Leagues Club and Wynnum Tavern.
