Council approves expansion of Aquavue Cafe
THE Fraser Coast Regional Council has approved a development application that will allow Aquavue Cafe at Torquay to expand.
Councillors voted unanimously to allow owner Larry Burch to add storage areas and expand his outdoor dining space.
Business councillor Chris Loft thanked Mr Burch, who was present in the public gallery for the vote for his investment.
The approval comes after Enzo's on the Beach in Scarness was granted permission to build two storeys earlier this year.
