New product in Hakka's Dim Sum range
Hakka Foods, Australia’s leading manufacturer of dim sum (yum cha) products, is pleased to announce the launch of a new dim sum dessert range, Golden Sesame Balls, under the Chinatown brand.
Sesame balls are fried dough balls covered in sesame seeds with the core filled with mouth-watering varieties of sweetened fillings. This delicious dessert can be dated back to the Tang dynasty of China and is a traditional tea-time snack and an essential yum cha dish available all over Asia.
Chinatown’s sesame balls are crunchy on the outside whilst soft and chewy on the inside, creating a fantastic contrast in textures that are sure to appeal to customers. Now available in two tantalising flavours:
- Salted Red Bean 24 x 228g
- Peanut 24 x 228g
Golden Sesame Balls contain no artificial preservatives or artificial colours, are Halal certified and have a two year shelf life.
A short cooking time of 4.5 minutes make them an easy menu item, ideal for yum cha, sushi trains, caterers, restaurants, hotels and resorts, function centres, cafes and clubs.
