Opening of Brisbane’s newest hotel

After a successful launch into the Brisbane's hotel market in 2011 Meriton Serviced Apartments yesterday opened the doors to its second Brisbane hotel.

The brand new apartment hotel "Meriton Serviced Apartments Brisbane on Herschel Street" will comprise of 202 fully self-contained serviced apartments in Cube and 1 bedroom configurations.

Each apartment will offer an oversized bedroom, gourmet kitchen, full sized bathroom, internal laundry; and the hotels fitness centre features a heated swimming pool, spa, sauna and gym for guests to enjoy. Levels 1-10 will be opened first with more stage releases to come as construction of the building continues.

Once construction of the building is finished, the apartment hotel will become the tallest building in Brisbane taking the crown from Meriton's sister property – Meriton Serviced Apartments Brisbane on Adelaide Street.

Perfectly placed in the CBD's North Quarter, MSA Herschel Street is adjacent to the Roma Street transit hub and parklands, with Queen Street Mall, boutique shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues only a stone's throw away. The trendy suburbs of West End, Kangaroo Point, Fortitude Valley, New Farm and South Bank are all within walking distance.

The final stage release will open in 2014 with the apartment hotel due to stand a staggering 262 meters high encapsulating spectacular views that luxury riverside accommodation affords from heights unrivalled. The top floor will feature two, 3-bedroom luxury penthouse apartments making them Brisbane's highest hotel offering.

This is the 12th apartment hotel opened by Meriton Serviced Apartments, proving travellers have preference to serviced apartments over typical small hotel rooms, meaning they don't have to compromise on; service, value, facilities, space, quality, location or cleanliness.
