Hygiene tips on using frontloading washing machines

• Make sure that soiled items are collected and delivered to the laundry in colour-coded dissolvable laundry bags, preferably sorted by type in self-opening laundry bags.
• Load the washing machine with the self-opening bags without opening them (these bags open automatically during the wash process once the drawstring has been released).
• Select the correct wash cycle (thermal or chemo-thermal disinfection cycle) for a hygienic preparation.
• Disinfect the door and its surroundings (door, door gasket, machine front) and the control panel before removing clean laundry from the machine.
• Never take workwear home for washing. It should always be processed in the laundry in order to protect the wearer and others. Always use a disinfecting washing program.
• Inform everyone on the correct use of Miele Professional machines and instruct them on further hygiene measures such as hand and surface disinfection.
