As an industry leading manufacturer of plastic disposable packaging for over 30 years, we at Chanrol recognize the need to lead an industry move towards environmental sustainability – both now, and into the future.

Whilst the great bulk of our products are already recyclable, we have made further progress towards reducing our environmental footprint in recent years by converting many plastic disposable food products into biodegradable models. We have achieved this by adding approved biodegradable additives in addition to importing Sugarcane Pulp or Corn Starch 100% Bio Products to supplement our existing range.

All our Polypropylene Plastic Containers, Plastic Cups, Plastic Plates can be supplied with the appropriate Bio Additive on request, with some available ex-stock. Your colour choice for our Bio-Chanware range is natural (clear), or products can be made with a tint if required to give your degradable product a point of difference.

Our range of imported Sugarcane Pulp products currently includes 3 Round Plates, 3 Oval Plates, 2 Compartment Plates & 1 Bowl, and we now also have 4 popular sizes of Hinged Food Boxes.

Our Corn Starch Cutlery range consists of a Knife, Fork, & Dessert Spoon, available in black and natural.

Our 3 popular sizes of Carry Bags are 100% Corn Starch Biodegradable and Compostable and pass the very strict requirements of Australia’s AS4736 & ASTMD6400 Standards, which qualifies us for membership of the Australasian Bioplastics Association.

We are working on new bio projects for 2013, including BIO Paper Coffee Cups with PLA (polyactic acid) Lining making them fully biodegradable, PLA Coffee Cup Lids, PLA Drinking Straws & BIO Food Boxes.
