The Tourism Accommodation Australia (NSW) Awards for Excellence are recognised as the most prestigious hospitality awards, honouring the achievement of excellence in a wide range of categories in the accommodation industry. These awards are open to all members of Tourism Accommodation Australia (NSW)
The finalists have now been announced for the 2012 Accommodation Awards for Excellence and this year is proving very competitive – a testament to the considerable investment that has occurred in the industry.
Master of Ceremonies and well-known media personality, Deborah Hutton will announce this year’s winners from a field of 161 finalists in front of more than 500 guests at the gala presentation dinner on the 26 July 2012 at the Westin Sydney.
Adding to the prestige of the evening, James Morrison, the well-known and highly regarded jazz musician will provide an evening of jazz.
Since 1997, the TAA (NSW) Accommodation Awards for Excellence has been the most prestigious award to be granted in the hotel industry with independent judges undertaking an extensive interview and evaluation process with entrants.
There are an impressive 58 finalists in the Property Awards and 19 finalists in the Achievement Awards.
Winning hotels are judged on providing an excellent range of facilities and customer service as well as their contribution to raising professionalism in the accommodation industry.
Notably we also have a record 84 finalists in the People Awards, with the judges commenting on the service excellence and professionalism of the employees that entered these Awards.

The night will coincide with the second night of ANZPHIC, the pre-eminent Asia-Pacific hotel conference, attracting senior industry leaders from the region.
