Brisbane’s Victory Hotel goes on the market

A freehold landmark hotel in the Brisbane CBD is up for sale through Savills Hotels.

The Victory Hotel is located on the corner of Edward and Charlotte Streets, and features a beer garden, Level 1 Nightclub, Hornblowers Bar, Nelson's Sports Bar, Sailor Jerry Room, gaming (30 EGM's), TAB and Keno, restaurant and function facilities.

"The Victory Hotel has excellent proximity to major existing and future transport opportunities of public transport, major arterial roads, rail and bus links; and links to pedestrian and cycle networks," said Savills Hotels director Tony Bargwanna.

The Victory Hotel sits on a 924sqm corner block site and is leased to a single tenant.

“The lease provides for fixed rental increases of 3.5% per annum until lease expiry,” said Bargwanna. “Upon lease expiry in March 2023, at the lessor’s option, the lessee must transfer the liquor and gaming licence (including gaming entitlements) to the lessor for $1. The lessor can also, at its option, buy-back the lessee’s equipment and stock.”

Expressions of Interest close on 11 September 2019.
