Bistecca team to open a new meat-based venue

The duo behind Sydney CBD restaurant Bistecca will open a new bar and meat-based concept on King Street.

The Liquid & Larder group’s Warren Burns and James Bradey say the menu will follow Bistecca's meat theme, but this time with more than one cut on offer.

The subterranean site for the new venue formerly housed Subsolo and Peter Conistis' Omega Restaurant.

The group’s other venues include Grandma's Bar and Wild Rover, with the duo’s ban on mobile phones and edible candles proving popular with punters at Bistecca.
