Melbourne’s southeast to welcome Hyatt Place hotel in 2021

A new Hyatt Place hotel will be built at Caribbean Park in Melbourne’s Southeast.

Expected to open in 2021 in what is the largest office precinct outside of Melbourne’s CBD, Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park will feature 170 rooms, a café, grab-and-go food market, bar, lobby lounge, and fitness centre.

“We are excited to work with the Spooner family for the first time to bring the Hyatt Place brand into a world-class precinct such as Caribbean Park,” said David Udell, Hyatt’s group president in the Asia Pacific. “Surrounded by open green spaces and leisure amenities and with easy access to major business districts, Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park will cater to high energy professionals who seek work-life balance when on the road.”

Caribbean Park director Ben Spooner said securing Hyatt was a “major coup for businesses within the City of Knox”.
