Finalists announced for Nestlé’s Golden Chef’s Hat Award

The finalists for Nestlé’s Golden Chef’s Hat Award have been announced with 10 teams of two set to battle it out next month in a purpose-built commercial kitchen at Fine Food Australia.

The 2019 national winning team will be awarded a $15,000 culinary trip to North America.

“This award is about pushing yourself to be a better chef. It offers young talent the opportunity to really accelerate their culinary journey,” said Nestlé Professional head judge Mark Clayton.

The finalist teams are:

  • Harrison Caruana and Stephanie Goetz (Victoria)
  • Sarah Jones and Adrian Holds (South Australia)
  • Siobhan McCowat and Owen Cootes (NSW Regional)
  • Giles Gabutina and Alessio Nogarotto (NSW Metro)
  • Alex Stemmler and Liberty Smith (Queensland Regional)
  • John Jamieson and Ryan Woodward (Queensland Metro)
  • Felicia Mardo and Shabrina Putri Amalia (ACT)
  • Nattawat Thiengdee and Te Ananui Heta (Western Australia)
  • Jarrod Everett and Megan Bell (Northern Territory)
  • Adam Lockhart and Jomarie Gealon (Tasmania)
