Zagame’s House chef scoops top award at AHA National Awards
The group executive chef of Zagame’s House, Chris Bonello, has been named the AHA Australian Chef of the Year.
This is latest accolade for Bonello who was named Chef of the Year at the AHA State Award’s last year.
Bonello has become recognised for his refined, seasonally driven dining at Zagame’s Berwick MPD Steak Kitchen in Melbourne.
Bonello said he was proud to accept the award, describing it as an honour.
“I can’t thank my colleagues enough for all their hard-work and support, they are like family to me,” he said. “A fantastic, passionate team, alongside the opportunity to constantly utilise top quality, seasonal produce is a recipe for success.”
