The Adnate opens in Perth

Accor has opened the doors to its ninth Art Series hotel, The Adnate.

The 250-room hotel features a mural spanning 25 storeys by wall street artist Matt Adnate.

The mega mural, which took a month to complete, features three large-scale portraits - including the face of a Noongar man, an Indian woman and a Mediterranean woman - all created with spray paint.

In the lobby, two original canvases and a large-scale mural above the hotel’s main staircase welcome guests, while 650 giclée prints of 30 of Adnate’s most-recognised works adorn the walls and halls of the 27-storey hotel.

Adjacent to the hotel, Adnate has also created a another 50-metre-long laneway mural.

The hotel also features a gymnasium and the Miami-style Hyde Perth Kitchen + Cocktails (opening to the public in mid-October), which is located next to a centrepiece outdoor heated pool area on level one.

“The Adnate is a seamless combination of art, design and functionality. It’s a powerful representation of contemporary creativity, with connected and inspiring spaces for guests to discover,” said Accor chief operating officer Pacific, Simon McGrath.

“We’re so excited to share this stunning property with guests visiting Perth from other parts of Western Australia, interstate and overseas.”
