The Byng Street Boutique Hotel opens

THE BYNG STREET BOUTIQUE HOTEL – SOPHISTICATED LUXURY IN THE HEART OF ORANGE NSW

A unique luxury hotel experience can now be enjoyed by visitors to the regional city of Orange NSW with the opening of the Byng Street Boutique Hotel.

An extraordinary marriage of historical architecture and contemporary appointments, the Byng Street Boutique Hotel is situated in the heart of Orange’s heritage precinct, and a stroll to hatted restaurants, boutique shopping and cafes, providing the perfect starting point for a visitors’ Orange experience.

Formerly the historic “Yallungah” homestead (c.1896), the building has recently undergone extensive restorations to create a spectacular juxtaposition of the significant historical homestead and contemporary architecture.

As you explore the building you quickly appreciate the Hotel’s commitment to its historical past and appreciate how the architects and designers have cleverly interlaced the old with the new, contributing modern design and complementary additions.

When it comes to booking accommodation, guests have the choice of 22 beautifully appointed rooms and suites. Their selection will come down to whether they prefer the superior comfort of the contemporary designed “Modern Wing” or rather to unwind in the historical style and charm of the “Heritage Wing”.

Proprietors Kristen and Thomas Nock not only have a passion for design, detail and service, they also share a dedication to supporting the producers of Orange and the surrounding region. After a relaxing slumber, every guest is treated to a delicious à la carte breakfast showcasing fresh local fare, served in the Yallungah Dining Room.

Guests of the Hotel are also spoilt with the choice of two spacious and thoughtfully designed lounge areas. Comfortable seating, dappled morning sunlight and stunning fireplaces provide a cosy and inviting atmosphere to meet other guests, read the newspaper, or relax with a beverage at the end of the day.

Corporate guests can take advantage of the purpose-built meeting and conference facility, the Lamrock Room. The feature of the space is without doubt the beautiful wooden handcrafted boardroom table, and the custom designed wooden batten ceiling hovering above it that obscures a remote-control drop-down plasma screen. Luxe to the max.
