The Ritz-Carlton, Perth opens at Elizabeth Quay

The Ritz-Carlton, Perth has brought a new level of luxury to Western Australia with its official opening today.

Located on Elizabeth Quay, the new build hotel marks The Ritz-Carlton’s 100th property globally.

“We are very excited to bring the legendary service and exceptional luxury of The Ritz-Carlton brand back to Australia,” said Lisa Holladay, The Ritz-Carlton’s global brand leader.

“Perth as a destination has so much to offer the luxury traveller, from its stunning landscapes to its superior produce and wine.”

The hotel offers 205 guestrooms including 19 suites, which feature sweeping city and Swan River views. A 277-square-meter signature Ritz-Carlton Suite offers separate sleeping, living and entertainment areas with floor-to-ceiling windows.

General manager Dario Orsini said the hotel will showcase the best that Western Australia has to offer through the architecture, conceptual design and authentic produce.

“I will strive to bring an uncomprising level of service and ensure the re-entry of The Ritz-Carlton brand to Australia instils a sense of pride for locals,” he said.

“I am delighted this global brand known for its anticipatory service and bespoke experiences has chosen to open its doors in Perth.”

The Ritz-Carlton, Perth has 2000 square meters of conference space, including the Elizabeth Quay Ballroom which is available as a single space or three smaller rooms. The Bell Tower and Swan River rooms are also customisable, all with views over Elizabeth Quay.

The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge will feature mixology demonstrations, five culinary presentations per day, as well as personalised excursions and journeys of wellbeing. The club also features an outdoor alfresco terrace with stunning views.

Acclaimed WA executive chef Jed Gerrard heads up the hotel’s signature restaurant Hearth, which will take guests on a gourmet journey that celebrates the stories of local culture and traditions, showcasing the finest and freshest produce from the region’s farmers, fishermen and artisans.

The menu will feature ingredients unique to Western Australian such as youlk, a native carrot also known as Ravensthorpe radish, boab tubers from the Kimberley region and native saline greens from Katanning.

Cocktail bar Songbird offers an extensive drinks list featuring local spirits, craft beers and wines, with a focus on native Australian botanicals, created in-house by a team of expert mixologists.
