Fire forces Adelaide café to close over Christmas
A kitchen fire has gutted a café in Adelaide’s Beulah Park.
Emergency services were called to Café Saha after a blaze broke out in the kitchen.
The fire, which is believed to have started in or near a deep fryer, took firefighters about 30 minutes to put out.
The fire caused about $150,000 worth of damage, with most of it contained to the kitchen, air conditioning and roof space.
The owners opened the Lebanese-influenced cafe and diner around two years ago.
“We are working through this and hope to re-open in the New Year some time,” the owners said on social media.
