Sports themed venue opens on the Gold Coast
Signature Hospitality Group has opened two new venues on the Gold Coast.
The Sporting Globe and TGI FRIDAYS have both opened on The Promenade at Robina Town Centre.
The Sporting Globe is a purpose-built venue and marks the brand’s second Queensland restaurant, joining 12 other venues across Victoria and Western Australia.
Local brothers Mark and Brad Vigus have come on as franchisees, saying the Gold Coast is a natural fit for a sports themed venue which features over 50 high definition screens
“Australia’s love for sport runs deep, and this is especially true on the Gold Coast home to professional and grass roots sporting teams and clubs, first class sporting events, and some of the world’s biggest sporting names,” said Mark Vigus.
“As locals, we noticed a gap in the market here on the Coast for an inclusive, family friendly sporting venue that would appeal to a broad demographic of customers, and become the go to meeting place to watch, listen, eat, drink and be entertained.”
