Masked men rob hotel patrons
Three armed men wearing masks have held up gamblers at a hotel at in Melbourne's north.
Police say the men were armed with a gun, an axe and a baseball bat.
They made six people hand over their wallets and handbags and stole cash from the till of the tavern in Ardlie Street, in Westmeadows, just before 10:30pm (AEST).
They also smashed four poker machines, causing more than $500,000 damage.
