TV chef Miguel Maestre burst into tears when he was named winner of Network 10’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

Maestre took out the Season 6 Grand Finale winning $100,000 for suicide prevention charity R U OK?

AFL star Dale Thomas placed runner-up while theatre star Rhonda Burchmore came third.

The chef said he lost 10kg during filming after living off rations for the last four weeks in the South African jungle.

“We were starving, we were so hungry,” he told Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O on KIIS FM.

He competed in nine trials during his month-long stint which included jumping out of helicopters and swimming in what he thought were crocodile infested waters.
