Gold Coast hotel issues blunt warning to thieves

The Pink Hotel in Coolangatta has decided to take matters into their own hands following a weekend robbery that saw youths steal around $1000 worth of whiskey and cigars.

A gang of teens was caught on CCTV helping themselves to the alcohol and cigars at the venue’s Santeria bar.

The hotel’s owner immediately went onto social media with a stark warning that they will be caught.

“WE WILL FIND THEM!! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE YOU DO NOT STEAL FROM SOMEONE ELSE!!” they posted on Facebook.

“Where’s the respect from this younger generation gone? It’s appalling that your sense of self entitlement allows you to act in such a way.”

The owner also posted a chilling video using edited footage of the teens with the stark warning “we will find you”.

“Not only do you need to change many things about the way you act as a young person or your future isn’t looking bright. Remove your sense of self entitlement! get a job! contribute to society! give your poor parents a break! Because the world doesn’t revolve around you and your self centred child like self. It’s time to take a long look in the mirror at the human you’ve become! Time to make changes for the good!

“You need to rectify your wrongs, stand up and make it right again.”
