Victoria Hotel Goondiwindi sold to ALH

The Victoria Hotel in the Queensland town of Goondiwindi has been sold through an off-market sale to ALH Group.

Owned and operated by the Klein Family since 2006, the historic hotel features gaming room, multiple bars, a function room, bistro, drive thru bottleshop and accommodation rooms on the first floor.

The sale was managed by agents Christian Tsalikis, Leon Alaban and Tony Bargwanna of Savills Hotels.

The hotel has a colourful history from its early beginnings as single storey building during the reign of Queen Victoria to a major redevelopment in the 1920s and was believed to have at one point held criminals awaiting their trials.

In more contemporary times, the pub has been well recognised at both the Queensland Hotels Association and Australian Hotels Association while under the Klein’s tenure.
