Simon George & Sons are offering fruit & vegetable ‘Care Packages’ at no cost to their clients, past & present, who have found themselves out of work recently.
SGS CEO Jack George said:
“The Care Packages are designed to feed a family of four and are made up of fresh produce kitchen staples such as tomatoes, lettuce and bananas. The message we are relaying to our customers is “don’t be shy to ask” - we’re all in this together and consider our clients to be part of our family."
The Packages are designed to feed a family of a four for a few days. They do vary, depending on product availability in each state, but are loosely made up of:
- 3 x tomato
- 3 x apple
- 3 x potato
- 3 x carrot
- 1 x cucumber
- Bananas
- Lettuce
- Juice
- Eggs
