Luxe life for Sydney diners on Aussie superyacht

Sydney diners are about to get a taste of the luxe life on the harbour with a new $15 million Aussie superyacht and its floating cocktail bar and restaurant.

Named The Jackson, the new superyacht which is Australian designed and modelled after the best superyachts in the world, is set to dock in Sydney Harbour at the end of the month.

Executive chef Tom Kime is curating the menu which focuses on high quality, sustainable seafood and Australian seasonal produce.

The yacht is also available to hire for events offering exclusive use of the whole vessel having capacity to host over 500 guests cocktail style.

Private rooms with access to the balcony are also available for smaller events.

The boat’s general manager Nick Lester said making The Jackson as accessible as possible was a very important aspect.

“The Jackson has its own dedicated luxury tender, the Jackson Flyer, which will provide a deluxe alternative to water taxis for guests to board at scheduled pick-ups from Manly and Rose Bay or disembark at a time that suits them,” he said.

“Not everyone can afford to charter a superyacht, so we have created an accessible luxurious experience that currently doesn’t exist.”

Operating times for The Jackson will be from Thursday to Sunday, 12pm to 7pm, and guests will be able to board directly from main departure points at Circular Quay or Darling Harbour.
