For one night only: Melbourne’s chef hatted Coda restaurant to ‘takeover’ Port Douglas favourite Harrison’s

For one night only, Melbourne chef Adam D’Sylva and his restaurant Coda will be taking over a Port Douglas venue as part of the Taste Port Douglas restaurant takeover series.

On 11 February, D’Sylva will bring his Coda menu to Harrison’s by Spencer Patrick.

The Port Douglas ‘restaurant takeover’ will see him blend Asian and European tastes and techniques at Harrison’s, which is in the Sheraton Grand Mirage Port Douglas.

“I’m very excited to bring the CODA experience to Harrisons Restaurant and to be shaking off Melbourne lockdowns with a trip up north,” D’Sylva said.

“I haven’t been to Port Douglas for a few years now and I’m excited to be bringing the whole family up this time to one of our favourite places.

“The kids are looking forward to enjoying days by the pool at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort and I’m looking forward to playing some golf.”

The Flinders Lane restaurant was opened in 2009 by D’Sylva, and shortly after was awarded One Chefs’ Hat in The Age Good Food Guide 2010 and 2011.

The takeover on 11 February is part of the lead up to the main festival that will take place from 11-14 August.
