Four Seasons Hotel to become part of Australia’s tallest tower project
Melbourne will be home to Australia’s second Four Seasons Hotel and will be part of Australia’s tallest tower project, boasting a sky lobby on the 63rd floor and a 5.5-kilometre vertical garden.
The project is part of a $2.7 billion project, incorporating two riverside towers, by acclaimed local property developer Beulah, which is behind Sth Bnk by Buelah – slated for completion in 2027.
The tower will stand 365 metres, making it the tallest tower in Australia and offering views across the CBD, Royal Botanic Gardens and the beachfront.
The Four Seasons hotel will be situated in the smaller western tower and will have 210 rooms which guests can access via the sky lobby on the 63rd floor.
There will also be a rooftop bar and restaurant, “world-class” health and wellness experiences and several event spaces.
“Four Seasons was the perfect partner for Sth Bnk by Beulah and will offer an unmatched hospitality experience, while remaining uniquely Melbourne,” Beulah executive director Adelene Teh said in a statement.
“As Sth Bnk by Beulah continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the luxury, lifestyle and sustainability spaces, Four Seasons aligned perfectly to our ethos and vision, offering unparalleled experiences, a bold commitment to innovation and fantastic sustainability initiatives across its hotels and resorts.”
A rooftop “sky garden”, public green spaces, a retail precinct, and spaces for arts and cultural events have all been slated for Sth Bnk by Beulah.
It will also feature private residences, commercial offices, and a health and wellness centre.
Construction for the Sth Bnk by Beulah is expected to start in late 2022 and be completed in 2027.
