Pub brawl hospitalises Strathmore Hotel patrons

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a fight at Adelaide’s Strathmore Hotel left two men injured.

Footage of the incident has been released, showing up to ten men involved in a brawl at the hotel.

It is believed the fight broke out after a verbal altercation occurred at the Strathmore Hotel on a Saturday evening in November 2021.

During the incident, multiple people were kicked and punched. A couple of chairs were also used as weapons.

A woman tried to intervene in an effort to de-escalate the fight but she was pushed to the ground.

One man was taken to hospital while another was injured in the incident.

Police say they would like to speak to witnesses and stated that not everyone in the footage were perpetrators of the violence.

Detectives would also like to speak with two men who left the hotel on foot and caught a taxi from Morphett St to Glenelg that evening.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

An unrelated brawl also occurred in a city pub in the early hours of Sunday morning where several people were assaulted and some stabbed.
