Hotel Clicquot to showcase Australia’s best chefs in a Garden Gastronomy

Hotel Clicquot will open its Sunshine Beach doors in October.

Guests can enjoy a three-night stay at the pop-up Noosa hotel filled with Veuve Clicquot-inspired experiences surfing at sunrise, yoga session or spa treatment, e-biking through the national park and having Australia’s hottest chefs curate culinary experiences.

Quay and Bennelong’s Peter Gilmore, along with Martin Benn (ex Sepia, Society) and Chris Hemsworth’s private chef, Sergio Perera, will create signature dining events in line with Veuve’s ‘solaire’ lifestyle vision.

Labelled the Garden Gastronomy dinner and developed by Veuve Clicquot, guests can enjoy a showcase of prestige cuvee and fine dine menu.

Gilmore, who will be hosting the dinner from October 19-28 said, “I have always looked to nature and the seasons as a source of inspiration in my cooking; a chef should always be in touch with the ingredients and respect them. I’m a passionate gardener as well as chef, so Garden Gastronomy speaks my language. I’m looking forward to sharing my interpretation of this vegetable-first philosophy with guests, married with La Grande Dame champagnes.”

Benn will take the reins from October 11-19. He will also focus on vegetables as the heroes of the menu and champagne that shapes the meal.

Guests can expect dishes including Beetroot, rhubarb, goat’s yoghurt and rye as well as peas, Spanner Crab, Jamon Iberico and dashi butter.

Perera will host the Sustainable Dinner, treating diners to a meal that focuses on sustainability and champagne.
