Three people in hospital after alleged stabbing at Sydney pub

A suspected stabbing during a brawl at a Sydney CBD pub has put three people in hospital.

A woman and two men in their mid-20 were found with minor injuries –  including a superficial cut to the neck and facial injuries – at the Civic Hotel on the corner of Goulburn and Pitt streets.

Police were called to the scene following reports of a concern for welfare.

“All three were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital for further treatment,” NSW Police said.

The two men were arrested and remain under police guard at the hospital. Meanwhile, police have taped off a laneway on Pitt St next to the hotel where they think a brawl occurred.

Police are looking at a pair of scissors that may have been used in the fight and have called on any witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers.
